{330} garland

almost out of christmas ideas and almost out of days where it still makes sense to use them! when i bought my first christmas tree seven years ago, i had a blue bomber themed tree and so i had blue and gold garland. now i've upgraded my style and didn't need that garland anymore. george couldn't help but get involved in this name for today.

merry christmas! woohoo! i love christmastime. i had this leftover strand of wrapping paper laying around my office and i finally came up with a good use for it.

i think i've nearly exhausted every idea i had for ornaments. here's my last ornament-name. :)

{326} new year's card

i was a little (okay, a lot) late with sending out christmas cards so i decided to do new year's cards instead. g and i got our "hair" done today and then my dad did our photos in his backyard. i rushed over to ss and got them printed just in time to hand out. :) my name is on it so it counts for this. :)

{315} rugelach

for said christmas party on sunday, i prepared a traditional hanukkah dessert (it was a christmas party but also the first day of hanukkah). i made chocolate raspberry rugelach. they were soooooo good. they don't look great but they sure tasted great!

i had every intention to print these, cut them out and attach them to a present before photographing them but then, out of nowhere, i didn't. :)

december daily {part one}

i attempted a december daily album this year. four days in and i'm still sticking with it! oh, and my daily project for next year is going to be a project life album. i think it's gonna be fun to just document my daily life. should help with my mood control and emotional health.

{285} remembrance day

today is remembrance day in canada which is our version of veteran's day in the US. i've been wearing my poppy proudly the last few weeks. today i thought i'd include a poppy in my name so i took the original (shown below) and altered the shadows in the poppy to spell out my name.

i had to hold george down just to get him into this costume for one quick photo op but i got it! and then i immediately took the costume off of him because, as you can tell from this picture, he looks utterly miserable and i can't do that to him. :)

{250} thanksgiving

happy thanksgiving! the official holiday is not until tomorrow but since tomorrow's name will need to be football-related, i chose to acknowledge the holiday today. plus, our family gathering is today (as most people's are). so, here is a list of some of the things i am thankful for (it's an awkwardly abbreviated list because the length of the word factored into whether i could include it or not).
