karen sent me a screen print of one of the texts i had just sent her about my new diet plan. lol we always need new diets every week because we like to keep it challenging and interesting. :) because it had my name on the top, i thought "perfect"! done!

i had every intention to print these, cut them out and attach them to a present before photographing them but then, out of nowhere, i didn't. :)

{297} famous folks

same idea from yesterday's post. this font was from fontspace.com too and is called "famous folks". so, my name is cher-lucille ball-jim carey-meg ryan-blues brothers-mick jagger. yup. that's me.

{296} lost font

i've done a fair-number of LOST-related names. this one is my name as typed with the "LOST" font i found on www.fontspace.com. i really have no idea who those characters are supposed to be that are indicated by the question marks. no clue.

{295} harry potter

totally obsessed with all these neat-o fonts i found. :) they've helped to tide me over during these last few days (and upcoming days) on this project. for serious. i cannot believe i've made it to day 295. absolute insanity.

oh, and snape was/is my favourite potter character. in the books i always sympathized with him the most. i totally love the dark bad guys (though he was a good guy all along).

love this. i used an actual picture of the hollywood sign and cloned the heck out of it to hide the word "hollywood" and then downloaded a hollywood sign font and changed it to "laurenwood". easy-peasy! :-P

finally! ikea will be arriving on november 28! maybe i should have saved this name till then. oh, well. here it is! this is so not convincingly similar to the actual ikea logo but it shall suffice. i got a mailer today promoting the new store. as if we didn't all have the opening day marked on our calendars already. pfft. yay!

{260} hangman

such a simple idea!

i wish i'd thought of this one a long time ago. what's interesting about this project is that 240 days ago i don't think i really thought i'd ever be able to create 365 names. and now here i am with only 105 days to go and i think i have TOO many ideas left. but, i am confident that it will end on january 31, 2013. and i can't wait to begin my next 365-project! i've got the perfect idea and i'm excited about it already. that one will begin on january 1, 2013 so i'll have one month of overlap.

i've tried the line graph for my name (success found here!) so this time i decided to try a pie chart. at first i thought maybe i could make the letters out of the pie pieces but, yeah, that's impossible. so, the next best thing was this. :)

{254} ten eleven twelve

this day will happen once in my lifetime so here is my way to document it. i mean, ever since the year 2000, we have had days like this every year (e.g. january 2, 2003 or august 9, 2010) but i like the sound of ten eleven twelve. i'll definitely have to do something for twelve twelve twelve because it's the last time in my life there will be a "threesome" like that. :)

{245} shopping list

well, today i finally learned how to take screenshots of my iPhone. and, it is officially the most awesome thing ever. i feel like a real true iPhone user now that i've learned how to do it. so, i made the most of my new-found knowledge and used the screenshot feature to make my name today using my grocery shopping list app.

absolutely obsessed with mentos right now. two weeks ago it was jelly belly because i had hoards of it leftover from disney world. now, it's mentos. i don't even know how this started but it's insane. today, i ate my last pack. :( must learn to abstain for awhile. double unhappy face. :( :(

{237} alias

once upon a time, when i thought i would become the most amazing star sports journalist, i had decided that my professional name would be "lauren bradley". i loved my first name but wasn't wild about my last name so i decided that my brother's first name would become my new last name. thus, my alias "lauren bradley" was created.

fitting that today is my brother's birthday and, ironically, his 37th birthday and today's name happens to be #237. could this be more appropriate for today?

{233} google me

i love how "google it" is just such a normal phrase that we use all the time. it used to be "look it up in the dictionary!" and now it's just "google it". you never hear anyone say "msn search it" or "yahoo! it". it's all about google. absolutely insane how they've taken over the world. so, anyway, i decided to google my name for today's name. but the results for "lauren" weren't nearly as interesting as the results for "lauren is" so that's the one i went with (though both are shown below). enjoy googling yourself! :)

whilst sitting on my computer and filtering through pictures from my recent vacation (which ones to print??), i came up with the idea to do subway art for my name. i'm shocked that this hasn't occurred to me yet considering how much i enjoy subway art. anyway, a few fonts later, here we are. love it.

ps. i know there is no {227}. i'm stumped on these football-related names. maybe it doesn't help that my favourite team is 2-9. :(

{219} happy bunny

i love happy bunny. ever since my friend teresa had a page-a-day calendar with happy bunny quotes a few years ago, i've been addicted. my co-workers have blessed me the last two years with happy bunny calendars so i can receive my daily insult. he makes me laugh. my favourites are: "hooray for guys with money!" and "parents suck. but they give you money." so awesome. so, here is my happy bunny name:

my favourite answer to this question is, of course, "the real slim shady". right? don't you always think of that eminem song when you hear "my name is..."? hmmm. maybe it's just the white male rapper inside of me. i've never worn one of these name tags but i sure wish i had one.

oh, gosh. remember on friends when ross hosted a party in his new apartment and he wore a name tag that said "ross" and then he added a second name tag that said "doctor gellar" and then he took the "ross" tag and added the apostrophes around it? oh, geeps. that was funny. he's such a dork. he wasn't one of my favourite characters to start but he ended up being my most favourite character. anyway, totally distracted. the name below:
